Little Studio Collective is happy to offer reasonably priced services to our fellow artists, makers and retailers allowing them to create new and custom mediums for their work.  Please note, we are not a trophy shop and offer limited services based on time and availability. To place a request for custom work, please read through the policies, pricing and details below, submit your business and contact details along with your scope of work via the link below then email your artwork to littlestudiocollective@gmail.com. We will be in touch with an estimate to move forward as soon as we have all your information.

ARTWORK, MEDIUMS + SAMPLES

Little Studio Collective works primarily in natural birch plywood and leather. We also keep a regular stock of standard clear acrylic in 1/8” and 1/4” thicknesses. Any other laser material request would be an additional expense to acquire. Once the artist/client has established what types of products they would like to produce we will set up the artwork and run samples (price included in studio fee) in various sizes and/or colors to establish a final product.  If an artist/client is unsure of what they would like to produce, we can set up a consolation at our studio to see samples and discuss options. 

The artist/client agrees that they have permission to use and share all artwork and files provided and that they are of original origin. The artist/client gives Little Studio Collective permission to alter their artwork in order to produce the best quality product possible. In addition, they give Little Studio Collective the rights to share the artwork with vendors as needed to print and produce products for the artist/client.

Little Studio Collective agrees that they will not reproduce or sell any of the artist/client artwork or products for profit.  However, the artist/client agrees that Little Studio Collective may use samples of their finished product to market their services to other artists, clients and small businesses and/or share on social media.  

The artist/client must provide clear black/white, grayscale or high contrast files for laser work. For printed products please provide the highest resolution images possible.  All file formats accepted, however, for best results we request that you provide AI, JPEG, TIFF, PSD or PDF files.  If you have questions about what files and/or artwork are best please email us in advance.

MINIMUMS, PRICING & ORDERING

Existing Artwork/Logo: A minimum $25 studio fee is required upfront to set up all custom laser artwork and templates. This fee may be higher $$ based on quantity (# of files) and time spent to establish working print files (cleaning up designs, adding vector lines, etc.). This price includes a sample of the finished product in order to approve production.  Additional samples, or samples requested on a material we don’t carry in stock will require an additional fee.

Design Alterations/Custom Artwork: Commission/custom artwork created by Little Studio Collective for an artist/client starts at a minimum $50 for basic design alterations, such as adding elements of design to existing artwork/files, and goes up depending on depth of work, type of work, production and usage rights, etc.  

Minimum $150 on all custom orders, this includes basic studio/design fees. Once the studio fee is paid and the artwork established, artists may order as many items as they’d like with respects to the minimum order requirements and turn around times noted below.

The cost of custom work is based on item type, size and length of production time but generally we will match our existing wholesale costs for production of custom items if they are within similar parameters.  

For Example:

Wood Ornaments (roughly 3”x4” in size) $6 each.

Wood Magnets (roughly 2”x3” in size) $4 each.

PAYMENT

Once we understand the scope of your work you require you will be invoiced a studio and/or commission fee accordingly. Payment on studio and/or commission fees is required upfront to start work. Once you have samples in hand and have decided to place an order, a deposit of 50% of your order is due upfront and the remaining 50% is due upon completion and delivery of your order. You will be invoiced through QuickBooks and we accept bank transfers or business checks.

Note: unless an artist/client is established as a reseller (additional tax information must be provided), the bill will reflect the appropriate sales tax. 

SHIPPING + TURNAROUND

Please note that all custom items are made to order. When placing an order please allow for a minimum of three to five weeks* to complete artwork, production and delivery. Shipping fees are the responsibility of the artist/client and will be charged on the invoice accordingly.  Little Studio Collective is not responsible for damages that occur during shipping. If a box arrives damaged by the carrier, please contact the carrier immediately to file a claim for damages.

Local artists/clients are welcome to schedule pick-up or delivery of their orders at no charge. 

* Please note and respect that Little Studio Collective is a small business. Custom orders are based on a first-come basis and completed alongside our own design/production needs. That said, please place any holiday or large quantity orders well in advance of your deadline and we will do our best to meet all your needs. 

RETURNS

All custom sales are final. That said, we want to provide the best service/product possible so please contact me with any concerns or questions.  

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

All photographs and graphics used on littlestudiocollective.com, on Facebook and Instagram, are the sole property of Little Studio Collective, its represented brands and the photographers who took them. Please DO NOT copy and paste photos from Little Studio Collective platforms or its represented brands for use on websites, signage, social media, et cetera without prior written approval from Little Studio Collective, lost little things, The Dapper Jackalope, and/or the photographer.
